Every one of us has an idea of how we’d like our own bodies to look. Whether you want your body to be slim, muscly, or have an hourglass shape, you can use positive affirmations to help you to achieve the body of your dreams! 

Everybody’s ‘dream body’ is different, so not all of the below dream body affirmations will be applicable to your circumstances. Read through each of them and then choose a few that truly resonate with you and how you would like your body to look.

Remember, you’re choosing statements, or affirmations, that you want to believe are true about your body. Whether they are currently true right now, or are more of a future wish, doesn’t matter.

You just need to use your chosen affirmations daily and allow your brain to truly believe in each statement so that it helps you to start to take the steps to make each statement a reality.

How To Use Dream Body Affirmations

If you’ve never used positive affirmations before, you can find out more about how to use affirmations here. But, it’s pretty simple really – just start by reading through the list of dream body affirmations.

Choose 3 or 4 affirmations that truly resonate with you and what you are trying to achieve regarding your dream body. Then use these affirmations at least once (preferably twice) a day.

To use the affirmations simply say them out loud, say them in your head, record them and listen to them, or even write them out over and over, whichever way works best for you and fits into your lifestyle. 

You can use the above affirmations exactly as they are written or adapt them to suit you and your needs more specifically.

For instance, if you’re a bodybuilder, you might be trying to achieve a particular level of body fat, so you might create your own affirmation such as ‘I choose to have 3% body fat’, or ‘I love the definition of my muscles when I achieve 4% body fat.’

You can adapt, change and make them as specific as you like to suit your needs, the biggest thing to remember, though, is to be consistent in using whichever affirmations you choose.

Achieving the body of your dreams will take some time – it won’t happen overnight! But it will happen, so long as you practice your affirmations each day and allow your brain to start taking action to help you achieve your goals.
